As of December 1st, I am officially back on the skinny bitch diet! Haha Mike increased my cardio sessions by 6 - yowza!! Up to 11, 20-30 minute sessions a week, and only 2 real carb meals. The rest are all protein/veggie meals…lots of veggies!! 8-10 meals a day, one cheat meal a week. My favorite thing to cheat on right now? Fully loaded Chipotle chicken burrito with either Adam’s Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple from the Cheesecake Factory, or a Peanut Butter Butterfinger (made with chocolate ice cream) Blizzard. The first week on my new diet was pretty darn rough, as I was hungry 20 minutes after eating each of my meals! My body has began adjusting, producing it’s own insulin, and I’m not nearly as famished…but still REALLY craving my cheat on Saturday!! The first week, I immediately lost 3.5 lbs. I gained 4 lbs after my cheat last weekend - lol, but I am now down 1lb lighter than I was last week before my cheat meal. We’ll see where I am at in a couple days, but so many people in the gym have been commenting on how much tighter I am looking…this after only 11 days of dieting! I’ve never had that happen before, but then again, I’ve never remained in this good of shape all off-season. Helps when I have a structured diet and exercise plan…never had that before either! I’m getting into the best shape of my life through the holidays and already seeing the fruits of my labor this off-season

Proud of our women!
Wow this past week/weekend has been non-stop! We had 2 fitness campers (aka clients) come into town to train (one from Utah and the other from Michigan) with us. Michigan girl (aka Shannon) was here in O-town for a bodybuilding show (Southeastern USA), of which she took first in lightweights and the overall! She looked her best ever...so proud of you Shannon for working so hard! Utah Cutie (aka Katie) has her show this coming weekend in Utah and it will be her first one ever. She is beautiful with a very good structure and shape. She will do well at this show and even better in her shows to come. Started the first day of our Women's Boot Camp on Monday and it went so great! These women are determined, dedicated and so positive. It is inspiring and motivating to coach them and to see them empowered through fitness. 5 days a week, first one is at 5:45am, next one is at 9:00am! What have you done today?? ;)

Sunday: A week on the updated off-season diet
Gosh, my off-season diet plans are keeping me LEAN! But, that is the goal...I am following my plans to a "T" so that I have to diet as little as possible next year for my pro debut. Me and my new butt will be at our best ever!!
I'm a little over 2100 calories a day right now, 164 grams of carbs, 227 grams of protein and 64 grams of fat. Carbs come from Kashi Go Lean cereal, yams, milk, rice cakes, yogurt, fruit and the little bit I get from my salads. Protein comes from egg whites, protein shakes, chicken and steak. Fat comes from yolks, almond butter, almonds, and steak. I'm holding at about 140 lbs...I get 2 cheats a week, tonight it was Giordano's deep dish pizza (pepperoni) and a slice of Adam's Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple from CF :)
Got to go to sleep...I have a killer cardio session of interval training on the step mill tomorrow!

Thursday: NYC Trip Recap
Just got back from NYC (driving!!)...crazy busy weekend, great success...airbrushed 20 competitors for the Team Universe/NY Pro (everyone looked amazing on stage! our girls had THE BEST color :) ...made lots of new friends (what I love SO much about being involved with this industry)...great time networking and for promotion...we spent 2 hours working our booties off cleaning our hotel room after the spray tanning was done (lol!)...then had some fun sightseeing in lower Manhattan...pictures of the fun above (L-R on pic above: Carla Machado, Edith Driver, Terri Turner, Alyssa Stroud, ME, Jason Phillips) Congrats to these girls and the many others we are friends with on a successful weekend!

Sunday/Monday: Laboring...
The movers finally came yesterday!! About time...morning cardio today; just did a quads and chest split, extremely taxing. Heavier legs today: leg press, squats, extensions, single leg squats...volume chest: incline flies, incline press, DB flat bench, low-pulley cable flies, then post-workout cardio...I was starving afterwards!! We hit up Maggiano's on the way home for my weekly cheat (I ate SO much and just felt satisfied - lol) and soon I will enjoy my Adam's Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple from CF :) Leaving early am to make a trip of north...

Wednesday/Thursday: Can we just start now??
Wednesday: freakn' busy even though it was an off day from the gym...signed and faxed all of the closing documents (thank God that is done...36 hours on the market total...once again, thank God)...opening the LLC (!) business account opening...a few hours choosing and buying the right equipment...called advertising...so so excited, just want to get this going!! Perfect demographic, time to own and thrive in O-town :)
Thursday: back day...my low back is still sore...trained intensely 4 straight days in a row (Sat-Tues...I think there are still lingering effects of the plyos and giant sets and deadlifts) and I am still trying to recover! Lots of nice people at the gym, very complimentary, very encouraging and supportive of the fitness lifestyle. I've never seen so many fit and ripped people at a gym! It's awesome :)

Sunday PM: Fatigued!
After the intense moving (entertainment centers, beds) and 2 days of brutal workouts, my body is sore sore sore and achy...Chest was today - presses, incline work, pop push-ups, freakn' mountain climbers (lots of giant sets) and ab work too...yesterday was back: pull-ups, rows rows rows, lots of supersets :) My trainer is the best though, talking in my ear each workout, "no one says you have to work this hard...if you don't want to compete, leave the gym! " I actually love hearing those words :)
Took 2 naps today, I never thought I would wake up! Walk with the dogs downtown in such a beautiful and personable community woke me up nicely :)

Sunday: Sore to the Touch
Woke up at 6 for one last beating...back and shoulders combo after 35 min morning cardio...fried, fried, fried, lightly touching any part of my body hurts so bad!...these campers have cracked me up all weekend and I LOVE them all, love their candidness and realness...good luck to these sweet girls in their upcoming shows...drove to my temporary home...long drive, longer than it was driving up to Ohio...putting together workout plans and diets for clients, watching the Olympics (I love the Olympics!) and relaxing....ahhhhh :)

Saturday: Fitness Camp
The extreme soreness is setting in...hams, glutes, chest, arms all anihilated...Friday afternoon was legs, arms...Saturday: chest and leg-shaping (one of the hardest workouts ever), then bootcamp...I am still in a caloric deficit (have to time meals perfectly to avoid throwing up in the middle of a workout), and tired as hell, loving EVERY MOMENT of it...love fitness camp, love being emersed in the fitness community,love these people, love nerding out about the fitness industry...I am in fitness heaven :)

Thursday: Back East
Tuesday was a whirlwind of last minute packing...got to the airport, checked Champ for his first flight ever, got to the gate early and on the plane smoothly (a rarity with all of my travels lately!)...I felt my body relax; the first time in about 6 weeks...a big city, faster paced, progress, driven and success-oriented; it feels SO good...happy girl :) Leaving tomorrow EARLY to train with my coach for the weekend...then, unpacking and more travel up and down the east coast....stay tuned :)

My Babies
I hate small towns...so tired of ALWAYS seeing people I know around every corner...(whisper, whisper)...AND, I just want to get my dog to his new home...spent an hour at the vet yesterday, got the wellness cert, got the enclosed crate...not so easy as checking him as one of my bags...we wrestled a bucking bronco last night trying to get the new harness on; thank God for sedatives, hehe...and for authority figures in the lil guy's life :) And his new lil sis (in the background) :)
Saturday Afternoon: Tearing the Arms Apart
Just got done training arms at the gym...even did the hero curls as pictured :) More giant sets...the arms were ready to explode! Amazing how I can work up such a sweat training such small muscle groups...intense cardio on the stepmill...talking to Tiff about the naturopath...an hour of fun at Verizon; I envisioned going to my happy place...got my choc yogurt at Costco, which made me smile :)....see a few of my killer arm workouts at catherinefitness.com!
